Description
Melina Hotel is located at the entrance of the picturesque village of Kipi, Zagori, near Ioannina, and provides accommodation in a traditional stone-built building that was constructed according to the fabulous architecture of Zagori.
It has been operating since 2005 and provides high-quality services in this beautiful region. The main purpose of Dervas family was the combination of the traditional characteristics of Zagori with the comfort and luxury of a modern hotel. The hotel is open all year long, winter and summertime, giving visitors the opportunity to experience whatever the region has to offer every season.
The architecture of Zagori is depicted in the Hotel Melina by the fine wooden ceilings, the lamps made of bronze and hand blown glass, the painted fireplaces and the interior wall-surfaces which are all combined in harmony with the excellent quality of the furniture, the impressive color alternation, as well as the modern bathrooms offering hydro-massage and Jacuzzi.
The authorities rated it in the top five hostels of Ioannina prefecture.
Accommodation
The hotel Melina has 8 luxurious rooms that can accommodate comfortable from 2 to 4 persons each that include all the appropriate equipment for your pleasure and an unforgettable accommodation. We also provide all the appropriate equipment or toddlers and small pets.
The rooms provide a DVD player with a USB port, enjoy your own movies, mini-fridge, free Wi-Fi, individual heating, bathroom amenities, 24/7 room service, mini bar and safe box.
Services and facilities
The hotel serves breakfast, in the room if you choose so, which is prepared using local products and always with the care and passion of the Dervas family. There is always honey and jam of our own produce, local feta cheese and yoghurt, a variety of cooked meat, juice and of course coffee and tea.
During the winter months breakfast is served in a cozy and appropriately shaped space, while during the summer months you can enjoy your breakfast in the magical yard of the Melina hotel.
The hotel offers free parking space for all its visitors and a shuttle service from and to the Ioannina airport at competitive rates. The hotel also provides luggage storage as well as baby equipment (playpen, swing etc)
