Description

Hotel Golden Sand is just a breath away from the beach and provides you with all you need for having the time of your life on Thassos. Golden Beach is 11km away from the port of Thassos –Limenas, and is also  famous for its beautiful, clean beaches. It is located at the eastern side of Thassos, between Panagia and Skala Potamias. There are many cafeterias and taverns and for those who love sports, they are given the opportunity to try water-sports. In addition, there are daily boat cruises around the island organised.

Accommodation

The hotel has 17 superior rooms available, as well as two more units, a junior suite and a deluxe suite.

  •  Superior room - This accommodation unit has an area of ​​19m², while it has accommodation capacity for 2 or 3 people. These rooms are equipped with one double bed or two single beds, it is possible to add a third single bed for one more person. Three superior rooms are located on the ground floor of the hotel, one superior room is on the second floor, while the others are located on the first floor of the hotel. The superior rooms offer sea or mountain views.
  •  Classic room - Accommodation capacity is for 2 people, it is equipped with two single beds. These rooms are located on the ground floor of the hotel, which is reached by several stairs. These rooms overlook the parking lot.
  •  Junior Suite - The suite has an area of ​​28m² and is located on the second floor of the building. It is equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed, which are located in the same room. This accommodation unit offers a view of the sea, you can enjoy the view from the terrace, which is equipped with two beds.
  •  Luxury Suite - Area of ​​38m², located on the ground floor. These rooms are equipped with a double bed and a sofa bed for two people, within the same room. In the deluxe room, there is a shower cabin in the bathroom, as well as a jacuzzi. The unit has its own private courtyard equipped with seating, and offers a view of the sea. The courtyard of each room is separated by a planter.

All accommodation units within the hotel are equipped with air conditioning, TV, safe, hairdryer, wardrobe, electric kettle and terrace. At the reception, guests can ask for an iron for the wardrobe. Small pets are allowed, but they are not allowed to be left alone in the accommodation unit.

Breakfast is a la carte, and guests can order it at the hotel upon arrival.

Rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed every two days, and bed linen is changed every three days.

In front of the main entrance to the hotel, there is a hotel parking lot, but sometimes in the season, the parking lot does not have enough capacity for all hotel guests.

The hotel has a reception, a decorated hall, as well as a cafe-bar with a seating area in the open and closed back of the beach.

Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are free with the mandatory consumption of drinks from the hotel bar.
