Description

Built at the foot of South Pelion, Guesthouse Machi has endless view of Pagasitikos Gulf and Sporades Islands.

Kato Gatzea is famous for summer events, such as the organization of sailing races “Aiolos”, but also for the organized campsites that are an attraction for the tourists.

Summer is suitable for trips to well-known and award-winning Blue Flag beaches of Pagasitikos Gulf and Sporades Islands, sailing, fishing, rides with horses or bikes, rides with the train of Pelion or even hiking from Gatzea to Milies.

During winter, you can enjoy the tranquility and relaxation that the mountain climate offers and visit famous traditional Pelion villages to taste the local cuisine and local wine and raki. Either you like winter sports or not, there is the ski resort of Pelion Hania – Pelion Ski Center, where you can enjoy downhill skiing in one of the seven tracks, or coffee in the traditional chalet ski “Agriolefkes”.

Accommodation

Guesthouse Machi has seven modern and fully equipped studios and 1 apartment. Each one covers an area of 25-30 sq. meters, with private parking, yard and garden, barbecue and view of Pelion mountain.

Breakfast is served by the sea, in Santa Maria Coffee Bar, where you can also enjoy your lunch or your coffee and homemade desserts in the evening hours.
